The UAE plans to create a 1,200-mile underwater train from Dubai to Mumbai, India. A unique transit link connecting the two cities for people, goods, and water and oil is the goal of this project.
After being suggested in 2018, the Dubai-Mumbai underwater train project is moving forward. National Advisor Bureau of UAE is constructing a feasible railway plan and designing the train for this new endeavor.
While the UAE and India have a close relationship, Dubai may be interested in this undersea train project for other reasons. Saudi Arabia recently launched ambitious initiatives with large funding, making it a regional contender.
NEOM, which includes the lavish LINE, aims to develop a massive city from desert to sea. The $1 trillion NEOM initiative, including $500 billion for LINE, is ambitious and expensive.
